to all my friends who love to lurk or rather "visit" other blogs. go here and wish my friend (via my sister-in-law), danalee, a happy birthday. she's trying to get 33 comments in honor of her 33rd. while there, you might actually want to read some of her posts; she's hysterical.

Thirty three cheers for you! Thanks for the support and fun laughs from your comments. Annie says your girls are having a great time in UT. I am sure you miss them but I hope you are enjoying some no doubt much deserved down time with them away.
Done.
PS: I hate lurkers, too. Especially if I have no idea who they are! Who the heck do we know in France, Switzerland, Thailand, Reston VA and quite a few other places that visit our blog on a regular basis? Drives me nuts.
She is funny, I had read her stuff before today.
oh herb, i was joking. i've been known to visit other blogs too (not so much on a regular basis unless it's one clearly written for the public - like a lot of these artsy ones).
anyhoo, you do bring up a good point. i always toy with going private, but then an old roomate randomly found my blog and it was fun to reconnect. that same roommate went private shortly thereafter when some single guy in vermont left a comment on her blog. i do wish i hadn't included my last name in my blog, but as it's in the actual URL site, i'm not sure i feel like changing things.
how do you keep track of who visits your blog?
@danalee - i do miss those girls, but have gotten used to the quiet house.
@sally - yes, she's very funny.
Happy Birthday!
Hi April
I think it is more scary to be listed in the phone book than to have personal info on your blog. I guess with kids names and things it can be scary of lurkers become stalkers. Anyway. . .
@annie - thanks for your comment. you do make me feel better about my blog (even if i feel worse that my number is in the phonebook. whitepages.com even lists are age range!)
