for your viewing pleasure

when pat told me tha tina fey was returning to SNL to play sarah palin, we both wanted to stay up and watch it (tina fey just looks like sarah palin). alas parenting took over and we slept through it. luckily, we found the clip. enjoy!! you can thank me later. (oh, and "the michael phelps diet link" on the side is pretty funny too. it reminded me of your post, kaylene.)

Funny, though it was obviously an NBC production! Thanks for posting this. We, too, meant to watch it and forgot.

I loved it! Amy Poehler (sp?) nailed Hillary Clinton. The best part of the show was the swim coach dancing to "motivating" tunes.

That's all Mike and I talked about the moment we saw Pallin, "She looks like Tina Fey!" We were so happy to see her on SNL (we love our DVR- watched it the next day). I wish they had her do more with it. I bet they will later.

I hadn't heard ahead of time that she would be back, so I was pleasantly surprised. Totally cracked me up. I don't generally last long enough at night to see SNL, glad I happened to catch it :)

We watched it on SNL that night, LOVE it! We are looking forward to seeing more Tina Fey/Sarah Palin on SNL. I think they will have her do it again.

quotables

"is that lily holding baby lily?" -lily's response when i showed her a picture of gracie holding her when lily was a baby.

"drama class is actually a lot of fun." -gracie (this is only humorous in that grace seemed surprised by how much she likes drama class. this from my child who we refer to as "a drama queen" when she is not around.)

"mom, you can go with my teacher and i'll stay home with japie and evan. daddy can go to work, and i'll be the mommy" -lily, in response to learning that she would be going to preschool next year instead of this year.

"mom, if you don't get rid of that smell soon, you're going to have to buy a new car." -gracie when it took me a couple of days to clean out my car after returning from a road trip.

"mommy, they have dress-ups for you!" -lily while walking by the prom dress section at macy's.

"i said the prayer "last"-erday." -lily's replacement word for "yesterday."
