just one more brag

i played a little too much at christmas and have since been tackling projects one at a time. i'm getting close to being done and should be back to blogging soon. for now, i will add a "hinckley brag" that i forgot about it. i noticed the day after the last post that i never mentioned my amazingly talented sister-in-law, annie, who takes the most amazing pictures of my kids. when pat and i went to hear her husband sing in december, she watched our kids. we came back to happy kids and this amazing picture of fritz.

hope you haven't forgotten about this equally amazing photo shoot of my girls.

since all the other hinckleys got more than a month of being the main post on my blog, i'll let annie stay here a few days while i finish my projects. be back soon. (and i'll try and catch up and read all your posts soon. oh, and susan, i'm about halfway through twin peaks.)

@ natalie - boring projects. stuff for primary, hinckley family calendar, making invitations, improving my spider solitaire stats, etc....

quotables

"is that lily holding baby lily?" -lily's response when i showed her a picture of gracie holding her when lily was a baby.

"drama class is actually a lot of fun." -gracie (this is only humorous in that grace seemed surprised by how much she likes drama class. this from my child who we refer to as "a drama queen" when she is not around.)

"mom, you can go with my teacher and i'll stay home with japie and evan. daddy can go to work, and i'll be the mommy" -lily, in response to learning that she would be going to preschool next year instead of this year.

"mom, if you don't get rid of that smell soon, you're going to have to buy a new car." -gracie when it took me a couple of days to clean out my car after returning from a road trip.

"mommy, they have dress-ups for you!" -lily while walking by the prom dress section at macy's.

"i said the prayer "last"-erday." -lily's replacement word for "yesterday."
